A young girl sits in the corner and stares,
At a figure that is no longer there.
Eyes of steel and a heart of stone,
Marks on her wrists she is so alone.
A figure of darkness hovers above,
And all because a loss of a love.
Pain inside that won't go away,
She's lost inside, and needs someone to show the way.
There is a strange familiarity about her,
The problem is I can't remember.
I can't seem to remember who she is anymore,
This insecure girl who stares at the floor.
All I can feel, and all I can say;
Is I can't believe that my life turned out this way.
